One month past since I came to Guangzhou, Yang Yang didn't see me for 4 weeks, but he still recognized me with lovely smile for a few minutes. Yang Yang can now stand up by himself. He is almost 11 months old, and around 78cm high and still 11 kg weight.  My mother in law is being in last period chemotreatment, she looks much better and even can carry Yang Yang for a while.

 

Everything is recovering, stand up and going ahead. next step is: walking! my lovely son

In the past 2 weeks, you took train, ship, and even airplane. You are so strong and nothing bad happened. The only problem was that you laughed so much every day to so many relativities and parents' friends. Now you will be in Yinchuan for half an year to bring happiness to grandma-in law. It's hardest time for our family, nobody expected it, but we should face it! Sorry to invovle you when you are so young.

 

In the past 4 months, I can see your lovely face when I open the door, I can be waken two or three times every night to take care of your hungry stomach, I can help you bathing to clean your growing up body. But now, it will be always dark when I opened the door,and  I will still be waken at night but only your empty bed is there ...

Hey baby,

 

It's time to go home, you will go back Shanghai Chongming with parents. There is the place where your father grew up, there you will see our apartment and lots of relativities, there you will be introduced to ancestors. You will meet godfather, uncles, aunts, you will also say hello to Duoduo, Jiachen ...

 

Then you will go Yinchuan, where you were born, to accompany with mother and grandma in law. Wish you can take happiness to them. Father will be flyman again to see you every one/two weeks. It's a special experience, a boy under one year will take train/ship over 3000km within 2 weeks. Be strong, baby, you can make it! Parents will protect you wherever and whenever.

My baby, today is the first time  that your mother have to leave you. Fortunatelly, you don't cry and still enjoy your fast growing up. Father and Grandmother will try our best to take care of you.

 

Wish Grandmother in law can be recovered soon, then mother can come back with us. God bless all in good health, health is everything!

It's Oct 4th, the 30th day after I came back YinChuan - my wife's hometown. I'm very lucky that I can accomany my family in this special moment. Every daytime, I worked for Nokia project from home. It's a long term globalization programe, so I can have opportunity to work offsite at not busy period. In the whole month, conference call, email handling and baby-sitter all my life.

 

Tomorrow, I will fly back to Beijing to continue my on site responsibility. Hopefully, I will fly home every weekends, and wish air ticket has low discount:)  Wish my son getting stronger and stronger, my wife recovering better and better. Then we can get together in Beijing after YangYang's 100 days.

 

 

 

 

It's 2008 Sept. 3, 22:55 GMT+8. My son , YangYang, was born safely in Yinchuan, north-westen of China. 3.1 KG, 3 weeks ahead of schedule:)

 

Yang is many Chinese words' pronunciation.

 

It can be 洋, means ocean, as he was conceived in Australia, which belongs to Oceania.

It can be 扬, means rise, as he was born in Olympic year, wish it can be a good start for China.

It can be 阳, means sunshine, wish my dear son can be happy and health for ever.

Oh, my dear wife, I'm sorry I didn't accompany with you at the special moment. Our son should be very clever as he always want to be born when I plan to go airport. Last time, I stayed and he was calm and stay in your belly; This time, I flied to Beijing for an important meeting, he jumped out and seemed to say: you should be with us:)

 

You know, I'm so loving you, and my son. Fly to you tonight!

 

It's her most beautiful time, even her weight has increased 15kg, her leg swelled...

It has been 24 days since I came back China, my homeland. I visited Hong Kong, Shanghai, Yinchuan, Beijing, and now Dalian; I'm carrying my Nikon D80 with two lens, to record things and people around me. Nice to be home, with peaceful people and sweet family.

It's time to go home. In Shanghai, my mother will have surgery on her hand, and I will accompany her until her recovery; In Yinchuan, my wife will do the first Type B Ultrasonic, and I can see my child first time; In Beijing, I will start a new role with challenge and opportunity! "See you on June, my family".

 

It's time to say thanks and goodbye to Melbourne. Here I experienced my first oversea big project; here I met so many talents from all around the world; here I learnt to play Golf and even drive on the left. "Thanks, and Welcome to China, my friends"

 

"2008,Are you ready?" I set it as my personal slogan for almost half a year. It will still encourage me to keep going in this special year!

 

 

 

 

Many public holidays in March: Australia Labor day, Easter ( Good Friday, Easter Monday ...), and I applied one more week vacation. Yeah, it's perfect to have long vacation with family.

 

Parents have been here for two weeks, they are now on fly back. "This is first and maybe the last time for your mother to go aboard", dad told me when we walked along center pier. I knew it was hard for them to travel 10 hours on plane, but I wish them can enjoy life when they are getting older and older, and not worry about me any longer. It's great to see them laughing and laughing. They always ask funny questions, compare everything with our hometown, and even like a child; they are still trying to save money wherever and whenever, and I have to cheat them some time. They still want to do everything for me, even not let me to wash dishes at home. As for me and my wife, just let them go and keep laugh, it's our duty and we'll take responsility to take care of the sweet family.

 

My sweet heart also fly back with my parents today. It's better to give birth at hometown with her parents and relatives. In the last two months, I was learning to cook, take care of her. Now she is leaving, I cried when I went back apartment, where we lived together so long time after marriage. I am missing her smile, her lovely expression, and even her angry, it's true family life for me ...

 

It's Easter day, I should say thanks to Jesus for giving me the sweet family, and hopefully we may have a little angel join us:)

3 months in Melbourne, 3 days in Sydney, and now today is another THREE: 3 years memory with my honey:)

 

3 years ago, it's the first time I met my wife, she is so lovely and we talked a lot in the afternoon in GINOCAFE(季诺). That day she almost missed her English course at Pudong.  No clear memory about our topic, but her smile and sweet tone are still in my mind, and keep in my life till now and wish to be forever. One months later, we all fall in love, then I asked her to be my girlfirend. It's very difficult for us to be seperated because I changed my job, from China Mobile to Accenture, and I have to travel all the working days for the new career. I told her I had chosen a new life style which I loved by heart, she just said "it's ok, just go." In the following 2 years, we phoned almost every night, met once bi-week, and went out to travel several times. She was getting along with my conusltant's flexible plan, she accepted my informal proposal on project Xmas party. she always smiled to say:" Go, do what you like" at the airport, and I knew she would cry and being sad while the airplane was departing. House decoration, wedding were all handled by her slim body. I knew it's hard for her to face my aggressive mother, but she did it !

 

Oh, my honey, thank you to come in my life, 3 years is only a start point for us,  Keep you smiling is the meaning of my life. 

As my hometown is in Chong Ming(rural district of Shanghai) , my wife's hometown is in Yin Chuan, and our new home is in Shanghai. So we will have 3 weddings within 3 months. 

 

Dec. 15/16/17 is my CM Wedding, it is hold in my old house, where I'm born from. It is very special that all dinners are prepared by my 2 super uncles with 1 cooker; there are about 200 relatives/friends of my parents came in 3 days. You cannot imagine how it can happen, my parents prepared it for almost 10 days and there are no invitiation card, no supply chain, no expert support. My parents in law came to my home town first time and they were also shocked by this traditional wedding. Till now, Dec. 20, my mother is still do some collection and cleaning work on it.

 

My wife and I should say thanks to my parents, this wedding is very meaningful for us, it is a very traditional way to announce our marriage, it's so sweet that we can see so many relatives and old friends coming and sharing our big time together. Thanks! Mum & Dad!

hehe, we just took photos for our marriage. You can find the photos in the album, they were taken by my Nokia70's camera. It's a lucky and full of happy experience. My honey changed 6 beautiful suits in a day, smile and sweet were always on our faces. We made lots of poses under photographer's guide, tried different suits with different styles, and we were lucky enough to take photo outside before raining.

2 months ago, I made a successful proposal at the project dinner on Christmas Eve. That time I made a wish to have a wedding on project site: Urumqi, XinJiang.  It was realised on my birthday - 2006.02.25.  

 

But this time I called it not wedding but family dinner in that I should say thanks to all my project teams, I'd like to share with my happiness with all the nice ladies & gentlemen.  It was a memorial moments, games and wines with happy smiling.
